Wheat Doughnuts (Doughnuts din Alkama)


   Wheat Doughnuts

Ingredients:

2 small cups wheat flour

1 tbsp yeast

4 tbsp margarine

2 tbsp sugar

1 egg

Pinch salt

2 tbsp dry milk powder


METHOD

 Soak the yeast in warm water.

Pour the flour in a deep medium bowl, add the salt, sugar, dry milk, raw egg and mix. Add the margarine and yeast, mix. Add warm water and knead to form a soft dough. Cover and allow to rest for 10 mins. Then sprinkle some wheat flour or corn flour on a chopping board. Knead and roll flat with a rolling pin. Use your doughnut cutter to cut out your doughnuts and set them aside on a floured surface. Keep the doughnuts covered with a light kitchen towel. Heat your oil and fry till golden brown. ©Asmie's Kitchen
