Simple Fried Rice
This dish is a lunch Inspiration. Very simple and delicious. If you are thinking of what to cook, try this recipe. The ingredients are what you always have at home. The eggs and the vegetables. The crayfish added a very nice aroma to the food. The ginger and garlic paste added more taste to the food. Video has been uploaded on my YouTube Channel Asmie's Kitchen. Ingredients:
1 cup rice (parboiled)
2 eggs
2 chopped onions
4 chopped red bell peppers
1/2 cup chopped spring onions
1/4 cup ground crayfish
1 tsp ginger & garlic paste
1 tsp fennel seeds
1 tsp Asmie's Kitchen Curry Powder
1 tsp Asmie's Kitchen Secret of Cooking Spice
1 tsp Ground Pepper
3 stock cubes
1/2 cooking spoon oil
Method
Whisk the eggs with some salt in a small bowl. Heat 1 tbsp of oil and stir fry the eggs to scramble. Remove the pan from the fire. Pack in a plate and set aside.
Heat 1 tbsp of oil in the same pan. Add the chopped red bell peppers and onions. Fry for 5 minutes. Pack in a plate and set aside.
Heat the remaining oil in the same pan. Add the fennel seeds and allow to splutter for 30 seconds. Add the carrots, ginger and garlic paste. Stir fry till the carrots are halfway cooked. Add the fried chopped red bell peppers and onions with the scrambled eggs. Season with the spices and stock cubes. Stir fry for a minute.
Stir in the rice and crayfish. Add the chopped spring onions. Stir and allow to cook for 5-7 minutes. Serve warm and enjoy!© Asmie's Kitchen
