Veggies Sauce

 This is a simple, healthy and delicious sauce. Can be served with white rice or pasta. You can also cook this for your guests, they will surely love it. 

   In place of red bell peppers. I substituted it with chilli flakes. As we all know her in Nigeria, vegetables (tomatoes, peppers & onions) are expensive. Feel free to increase the quantity of the chilli flakes if you like it more spicy.

Ingredients: 

1 small cabbage (shredded & washed in salty water)

3 plump tomatoes (diced)

2 medium diced onions

1 tbsp ketchup 

1 tsp Asmie's Kitchen Curry Powder 

1/2 tsp ground black pepper 

1 tsp chilli flakes 

1 stock cube 

1/2 medium cooking spoon oil 

4 medium peeled & diced carrots 

               Method

Heat some oil in a pan. Add the diced onions and carrots. Stir fry till halfway cooked. Add diced tomatoes, ketchup,chilli flakes, stock cube, Asmie's Kitchen curry powder, ground black pepper and stir. Allow to cook for 5 minutes. Finally, add the shredded cabbage, stir and allow to cook for 5 minutes. It's ready! Serve with white rice and enjoy!© Asmie's Kitchen
